I really like salad, but I put too much dressing on it. I really like mixed vegetables and rice, but I’ve stopped eating rice. I don’t think I’m getting enough vegetables. What to do?
You could create a smoothie in a blender.
That sounds good.
You can try using vinegar and oil or lemon juice for your salads instead of salad dressing.
personally I got em all in one big salad, 1 cup romaine 1 cup kale 1/2 cup peas, diced onion, diced tomato, mushroom and maybe some carrots.
I do 2 tbsp. olive oil and a raspberry vinageirette for the dressing, although the olive oil may be alittle too fattening for you
a lot of people, like my mom. just make green smoothies mixed with a bit of fruit
Make chicken veggie soup once a week. I feel i need veggies once a qeek.
Sound advice everyone. I wish they were as easy to eat as fruit. The thing with salad @Wave is I think I was more of a fan of ranch than the salad. I might give it a go though.
Steamer looks good @zeno
That salad sounds good @yaz1
@anon62371846 chicken veggie soup sounds good
Take a multivitamin pill! Problem solved…
I’ve googled everything you guys suggested.
Do you recommend a paticular multi vitamin @labratmat?
Well, for me personally i just had a 23andme genetic test which was pretty crap, but i took their raw data and paid for further analysis and it told me I need iron, copper, choline, vitamin k in my diet and a multivitamin for vegetarians from healthspan covered most bases.
drink a glass of V-8 every day…better way to get your vitamins…
I was just looking at that @jukebox. Thanks.
@TheBest. My daughter wouldn’t eat vegetables so I puréed fresh spinach and put it in the brownie mix. You can’t taste it.
I can’t believe you did that! You must be a good mom!!
That sounds pretty good @Loke
The thing is if you have too many vitamins in v8 or a supplement vitamin pill you just piss it out.
I’ve definitely experienced that @labratmat
I was worried about her. Its amazing. You really can’t taste it.
+whatever to the smoothies. That’s how I get most of my fruits and veggies. Carrots, spinach, beets, brussel sprouts, cabbage, tomatoes, avocado, cucumber, zucchini, are all good in smoothies. Plus more probably that I’m not thinking of.
