As part of mental health awareness month I’m brainstorming a web product to help with wellbeing for those in mental health crisis.
To those with mental health diagnoses, what would you say would help you when you are in crisis? A way to reach out to people? A way to reward yourself for self care?
To the support networks of those with mental health problems- what would help you work with them? Better communication? A way of monitoring their wellbeing?

I definitely think remote appointments are the way forwards - i email my psychiatrist who emails me his med recommendations which i take to my gp. But I’d love to do skype appointments
I tried to go to appointments by public transportation. It cost $5 bucks and I had to take 1 train and 3 buses to get there. A total of 2 hrs oneway commute.
It is not that far away either.
Transportation is a big issue with MI as many of us can not drive.
