What was your med that stopped voices?

Here is 3.30 am.I’m still awake,thinking of move I should do.Do I need hospital?I consider getting there in morning,but I must prepare my self for it,pack bag with necessaries and tell my relatives,because there is no mobile allowed.

Olanzapine did it for me. I switched to Risperidone in 2011 because I came down with Diabetes. Risperidone works too, but I had to up the dose last summer because I started occasionally hearing a voice. That went away taking 5mg, instead of 4mg. So far I’ve haven’t heard any voices, thank God.

Abilify (Aripiprazole) 30 mg stops the voices for the most part.

the voices are generally negative and accusing i just learn to speak back to them
