I enjoy all music, some I enjoy more when I am in the mood for it. I appreciate all music.
I like a lot of music that goes with how I am feeling or how I want to feel. I collect the feelings and connections to Song Artists somewhere in my brain and then I use the internet to find it again. Some music makes me feel really uncomfortable and I like that feeling of being funky and uncomfortable and melting.
So about right now I like this kind of thing:
TOBACCO and Black Moth Super Rainbow and DoseOne and all their friends have scary videos that sometimes I can’t watch. I have seen them live a few times and it was really great. They had Pterodactyl Porn playing on a screen behind them and it was gross but It was a really good visual for the music.
Sometimes music is so simply strange it is both “funny and strange” and “not funny and normal” A lot of this kind of music just clicks and makes me feel sane. It resembles that stuff that my mind likes to play made out of things I hear or just scrambled auditory things that don’t make sense. It is playful and not threatening.
Renaldo & The Loaf are closely linked to Ralph Records, because of Snake Finger, and The Residents, my All time favorite Band. They have so many secret stories and albums!
This album has a really funny story behind it and it is constant hilarious even when the scary songs play, they are the funniest scary song things ever. I get laughter rage fits from this album. Also DuckStab is wonderful, but there are too many Residents Albums to even count. I have about 100 Favorite Albums from them.
