What are whole entire albums you like?
Specifically Iām looking for background music, music that says āhey sure Iām fond of itā yet doesnāt need to stir or give goosebumps.ā
Iāll just tell you I listen to all the famous Bob Marley songsā¦ I find comfort in the fact that Iām following many others (I will attempt to blaze my own trail - at other times)

Well, in terms of music to mellow out to, have you ever heard of a post rock band from Iceland called Sigur Ros? Some of their songs have movement on them and maybe even considered ādarkā, but I would recommend their 2012 album āValtariā. There are other post rock bands like Mogwai and Explosions in the Sky, if you can handle some rather loud drumming. And yes, I like the National, also.
