My grandmother and grandfather came to Canada from Scottland and Britain in their youth. My grandmother had a thick Scottish burr and no one could understand her when she got excited (which was most of the time). My own mother always had a light Scottish accent. I had a mild Scottish accent up until I started school, and then I lost it. Our language in Canada tends towards Americanization, so I’ve always stood out a bit here.

Food wise it’s fast food for sure.
I always feel so rubbish after eating it. I’m trying to get as much of the fast food and processed food out of my diet as I can.
Yes i am doing the same. It’s hard because I have a literal addiction to junk. But I’ve been working hard to overcome it.
