What’s up with all these boner threads?

I think they are unnecessary and frankly disgusting.
Am I the only one?

Disgusting? Why? People are anxious about their penis

They should ask their doctors about those matters.

I don’t know at first I thought it was attention seeking and borderline pornographic and then I decided to take it as if it was a medical comment and not be offended. But I do see your point though.

I agree, ask your doctors if they are anxious.

or at the very least, google those symptoms. No one cares about your johnson

I think discussion about how APs and other classes of meds can affect sexual functioning/performance is fine . What’s not fine is if you are just out to titillate , and are not seeking advice as to how to deal with a sexual problem .

Men get upset or curious. It’s no different than when we ask female health questions. If you don’t like them, just ignore.

The body and concerns over it aren’t disgusting. It’s normal and people feel comfortable asking here because we’re so inclusive and caring.

To the Editor: Priapism has now been associated with most of the second-generation antipsychotics, but little emphasis has been placed on the stabilizing antipsychotic after this reaction initially occurs. Priapism is defined as a persistent, often painful penile erection not associated with sexual stimulation

Sorry but i dont think theres anything wrong with it. Plenty of woman will soon discuss there menstruation in daily life - or there womans bits, whats wrong with men doing it.

I think tho - alot of the younger generation on here get genuinly concerned with there sexual prowess - when they’ve realised that Ap’s can actually mess with the function of there cock - its important to them - and there inbuilt need to be a man and pro-create.

Us lot of course being older - dont really care tho most of the time - cos we have been there done that - and already had our children and/or sex life.

It’s funny how our minds can make connections from things . It triggered this to come to the front of my mind . It’s many years since I’ve thought of this .

I think there’s a difference between genuine concern for something possibly being a symptom and then how all the penis related posts get hijacked by some to inevitably devolve into just talking about masturbation.

Which, also, fine, whatever. But it still annoys me. Wouldn’t bother me as much if the thread was titled something about just wanting to discuss masturbation.

Having genuine concerns over a medical concern is one thing but bragging that you woke up with an erection is not a medical emergency.
I just don’t get it.
Keep it to yourself!

A penis is a doorway into a smaller dimension. A vagina is gateway to a lifetime of ifs and butts. An ■■■■■■■ is an exit into dirty waters. And I don’t know what the ■■■■ I’m saying so just put me out of my misery. Please be kind to animals.
