Everyone goes to school so school must be like real life but that isn’t the case.
Some young people go to college without much experience in life. Going to school might shelter them from some realities of life. But school is as real as a job or traveling or living on the streets or going to jail, it’s just part of life. Lots of adults with plenty of life experience go to college too.
I’m actually not sure I understand what you’re getting at, I’m not sure of your point.
