Here psychotherapy is between £40-£100 per hour
I see my therapist every 2 weeks and pay $25 a session, but that’s cuz I’m enrolled in their financial assistance program. Secretly, tho, my therapist said she’d see me for free if i was needing to see her more often if i was having a bad time. But i wouldn’t take advantage of that, I’d take money out of my emergency fund if needed.
My therapy charges my insurance $200 per 60minute session. My insurance approves the service to only charge.$135. They pay the provider $110 and leave me with a co-pay of $25 per session. I do visits over the phone with video. If I went in for in person therapy my insurance would pay the full $135 approved charge and I wouldn’t have to pay $25. I have therapy once a week so I am paying $100 a month.
The one I went to before costed $180. But he kept short changing me of my one hour session but like 5 mins.
I used to have a psychologist. It was 60€ for 1 hour, but that was a decade ago.
Im lucky, I get my services through the VA and its free.
I think it’s about 150-200€ an hour.
