I’ve never been on a med that changed this for me. Generally depersonalization & derealization are signs of either extreme stress or trauma. Thus treating these things may help with those symptoms.

When I was on Vraylar, derealization symptoms surfaced.
Antipsychotics can make things worse.

I think therapy is usually prescribed for this

It’s a therapy thing. There isn’t really a med made to treat this. I noticed my DP/DR increases on certain APs as well.

Avoid trauma and the triggers of trauma, although sometimes that can’t be avoided.

To answer @karl though as far as I know there are no medications for dissociative disorders

You know it’s funny for me I don’t dissociate like I used to now that I started taking Saphris. It has really changed things for me. And I used to dissociate if someone looked at me sideways, it was weird.
