What knocks you out?

What knocks you out and helps you go to sleep? Maybe I will try alcohol.

A warm shower or bath is probably easier.

Alcohol makes sleep worse

Drunken sleep disturbs REM sleep. It’s unnatural. Maybe music can help you fall asleep, or even watching TV until you doze off?

I have some kettlebells, working out 2 days in a row turns of the lights for a couple of days.

Reading usually does.

I have a prn for sleep but I rarely take it because then I sleep all next day. I listen to an audiobook or sometimes just nature sounds. If I’m not at all tired I don’t attempt to go to sleep or I just get frustrated. Also I sometimes put on a boring show and then I nod off.

Please don’t turn to alcohol.
It can only make things worse for you @see121

Booze will just make you get up and piss half the night on the toilet - and you wont get any REM sleep off it either.

Try a relaxing bath - and try to wind down a couple of hours beforehand - like some easy reading and low lights on or some nice tunes.

you drink one or two bottles of wine every evening?

Not everyday, today I did with my father. We sat and drunk 2 bottles. I’m high now

clozaril 525 mg at night

I take 2mg benztropine every night plus a small dose of melatonin. I read something light until it kicks in and I can usually fall asleep fairly quickly.

Reading - or if I have insomnia then a valium (2,5mg - 5mg)
