I was never that smart, but something major did happen to me. It bothers me. Just curious where everyone is at. I’d probably be a 4 or a 5 now. I was a 1 and that was a living nightmare.
I think less than I used to and aren’t as smart for sure. That is a great thing though because I don’t really get obsessive and racing thoughts on the meds. Dumbed down but happy. I gave a 5. I’d say I’m an average to above average intellect which is less than I was!
I gave it a 9. After I became ill, my intelligence and concentration took a nosedive. It was like losing a sense. It took years and years to rebuild.
I don’t think I’m all the way back to where I was - leaps that used to be effortless take more out of me now. But I’ve gained a lot from the coping mechanisms I had to develop post-illness. I’m performing better than I did back when I was smarter.
I gave a 5. I was considered superior in intelligence when I was a freshman in college. Now, thirty-five years later, I’m at below average or some tests say average intelligence level. Psychosis has really had it’s effects on my brain over the years.
