What is your handwriting like? POLL

I think my handwriting is quite legible, though I tend to write in a hybrid of print and cursive, which I suppose is a bit weird. I’ll post an example in a minute; I have to switch to my phone to do that. I’m unable to start topics on my phone, and my phone will no longer sync pictures to my computer.

Neatness:

  • My handwriting is neat and legible
  • I write in chicken scratches

Style:

  • Print
  • Cursive
  • Print-Cursive hybrid

I think we had a post like this a while back, hell I might have been the one who posted it, but I’m bored right now lol.

What’s this “writing” thing you speak of ?

I think I write people’s name on birthday cards but that’s about it.

I just wrote this out minutes ago. It’s a shopping list for what I need to buy to make a recipe I saw today for buffalo chicken chili. Basically it’s all the ingredients except salt.

I write a lot, especially when I’m teaching. I write on the board A LOT. My students just have to get used to my handwriting style.

My handwriting has gotten very poor. I mentioned it to my pdoc and she pointed out that i really don’t spend much time writing. That’s probably why. Use it or lose it.

I have one student this semester who writes entirely in cursive. It’s become so unusual to see that.

looks a bit like mine

My hand writing has always been bad, idk what’s up with that. I try to write quick tho

Yeah, I write quite quickly, too. Otherwise I could print more neatly.

I sometimes have to scribble things out, like I did on that shopping list, because I sometimes write wrong letters. It happens in class, too, though there I can just erase. It’s part of my dyslexia. On that shopping list I nearly spelled “corn” as “korn” lol.

I write the wrong letters quite frequently as well too, but i don’t have dyslexia. Especially if someone is watching me write or maybe telling me what to write.

I also do the some cursive and some regular print like you.

I worked as a taxydispacher and I had to write things down for my boss but my boss said she can’t understand my handwriting. So I changed my handwriting to more print like handwriting. Now it’s neat and readable.

Around the age of 11 I had handwriting lessons with the teacher who taught the youngest children. It was that bad. I think it’s now legible but crudely formed. However I write slowly , and when I try to write fast it really deteriorates.

I used to write entirely in cursive but then changed it because a teacher complained it wasn’t legible.

I’m a bit of a perfectionist, so it stands to reason that my handwriting remain legible and neat.

If I focus I do pretty well. I think it helped that I used to have a book and some calligraphy markers that I used to play with when I was younger.

My hand writing has always been quite good. I think it is because of the primary school I went to, I can remember having to practice hand writing over and over and it being the most boring thing. May have been worth it in the end though.

Mine was always neat, but in the last few years tend to be more chicken scratchy, especially when writing fast or at odd angles like when driving.

I also write in a hybrid English/Spanish/Code/other languages/drawings.
If angry it doesn’t even resemble english.
