What is your favorite job, even if you are not working now? My favorite job is delivering pizza.
To be the best watercolour artist in the world!
Btw
This is not my job.
The best job I’ve ever had was actually a pizza chef for a restaurant chain. Haha, @Jake we should go into business!
Working in a plant nursery.
I used to make homemade pizza when I could swallow bread. I used double the recommended amount of yeast. It makes your crust airy. Also, I think the simpler a pizza is the better. I’m going to get my throat checked out if I can be an adult enough to do it. I’m on my own.
I have a hard time swallowing pills. Pharmacophobia they call it, I guess. But bread? It has never crossed my mind that eating normal food could be felt as risky. The only rule I follow is: don’t talk while you eat. Only choked on food once, because I was talking or laughing.
There’s something wrong with my throat, it’s constricted and my pdoc won’t prescribe medication for it. I am going to have an endoscopy.
Oh I see. Sorry about that. Yeah better have it examined.
Hospice.
I took the most from it. I was good at it. It lead me to a major break. Zero insight and horrible positives.
I do and don’t miss it.
Working for IBM after graduating from the city’s technical school but that employment was short lived as it was abruptly terminated due to my first psychosis.
I was a dishwasher at a diner restaurant. It was fun. Everyone was nice.
I haven’t worked too many different jobs, but my favorite was also delivering pizzas. Decent money, didn’t have to slave away in the restaurant making food, I could listen to music, go home with cash every night. It all also depends on your coworkers and managers – mine were awesome.
The best job I ever had was my first full time job after I dropped out of college in the mailroom of a business.
I loved the creative part of being a chef. I also liked getting overrun with orders during a rush and managing to get quality food out without blowing ticket times. The pay, the crap managers, and the constant cleaning weren’t as much fun.
Embalming assistant when I was 16. I saw time and time again why a person should wear their seatbelt when operating a motor vehicle. It isn’t pretty.
I’ve had a lot of jobs.
My favorite, as many of you know, is singing in a band. I perform (my favorite thing), people clap, I get cash at the end of the night. Awesome.
my favorite job was playing in clubs as DJ. not sure it’s a job but i loved doing it.
My favorite job I’ve EVER had out of my 11 jobs was Walmart cashier believe it or not!
and apart from that i also loved my job in the army.
My favourite job was as a Nursing Assistant. Made some good wedge doing 60+ hours working nights.
Had my favourite residents who i would sit with when they couldnt sleep.
Seeing them now - they all seem to employ fillipenos to do the work.
In the summer i would sleep on the beach. 20 odd years ago now.
