Setting goals helps goals in their achievement gives some sort of meaning to life
Just be in the moment no future no past but only the present thoughts.
Actually when i think of it i have not gone through much but i know its there in my future.
But i dont care suffering is like surfing in 20 ft wave, eithers way i have to get wet. To ride the wave, is taking the step how to do it when the wave hits

I make sure I have positive things to do to take my mind off of it. Hobbies are a godsend.
Right now whats helping me from not suffering is being around people that are in good moods and cheerful
i make jokes and it really helps
my mother right now buti think she’s playing dumb with me s i didn’t know bout a major shooting and she said i didn’t know either…i keep touch with this as it’s disturbing in the world and i want gun control measures…sorry political.
last time they came back from a wedding and told me my brother and his wife had been to a phish show in arizona. highly doubtful but i didn’t check as this would make me look crazy.
trust is important here as i have only family and one friend talking to me currently who goes off the rails worse than i.
For me it’s to feel it.
That way I can process the suffering and move on.
I have no secret. At my worst I just had to live through it and endure it. I guess if I had to say something that helped it was relationships with other people whether it’s a friend, family, a counselor or nurse you like or someone you talk to regularly at the group home or hospital. Other people made the unbearable, bearable.
for me it’s spirituality.
One foot in front of the other but keep moving.
I found it good sometimes to trick myself.
I had a friend who vented a lot.
I liked that too cos then I could do the same and not feel judged
