What is easy to do with negative symptoms?

Nothing for me. I takes ongoing, sustained effort. I try to maintain a minimum level of momentum to carry me past the really bad spots.

Honestly, it’s all about exploring new hobbies or interests. It’s just hit or miss. I was unable to do any of my previous hobbies, like painting and coloring. I kept pushing myself, over and over, to get back into those hobbies. But I always failed.

Then I tried loom knitting! And that was just what I was missing! I actually enjoy it. I haven’t been able to enjoy hobbies in a very long time.

So, my advice is to keep searching for new hobbies. Be open to anything. Just keep trying new things until something clicks! It might take a while… or it might not take much time at all! But it’s never to late to pick up a new hobby or interest.

Good luck.

I agree with @velociraptor. I am feeling a little bit better now.

Sleeping. Laying down, sitting on couch. Everything else is difficult

I learned the momentum idea from a friend that bikes a lot that has ptsd. I asked him how do you do it?
And he said it’s just a refusal to stop.
So that kinda stuck with me recently.
Keep the wheels rolling
