I believe the most important motto for me is:
Be yourself and
Live simply
I value freedom a lot.

It’s not exactly a motto, but a prose poem written by Max Ehrmann in the 1920’s called Desiderata. I try to live my life by this poem. If you get the chance have a read of it.
