are all piano teachers mean?
wish I could have learned it, I have the fingers for it.
a little guitar. I taught myself, after taking classes through the church.

It’s about time I put on that guitar string…twang.
I play guitar and banjo all the time…played since my early teens…
rebel is guitar. yep, you bet.
Guitar. Didn’t stick with it liked long nails more.
No. I was a piano teacher and I’m not mean. I promise hehe. My first instrument was flute and my second was piano. I can also play a bit of guitar.
I play a bit of guitar (self taught)
I have a flare and want to learn to play it.
When I was younger I learned a lot of different instruments, now my main instrument is guitar. Always got too bored during the lessons to get decent at piano, wish I had stuck with it more
I play guitar. I’ve learned enough bass, keyboard and drum machine to do my own recordings. I recently got a new drum machine and I’m trying to figure it out, an Alesis SR18.
I played the violin in elementary school and the drums in junior high school. I used to keep a drum set but I don’t anymore. I have an electronic drum machine in a box somewhere but it isn’t unpacked so I don’t play anymore.
I was teaching myself guitar until I damaged my left hand. Can’t make chords really well anymore but I still have an acoustic and electric guitar.
@Daze, The answer to your question is, no. I have had three really cool piano teachers. None of them rapped my hands with sticks while I played. Although some of them were more lenient than others. Some were too lenient and I developed some bad habits that are hard to undo. I’m trying to fix them now. Like, not counting while playing. That’s a biggie.
I play drums and would like to learn to read drum notation.
guitar self taught, wrote my own songs because I can’t read music. Just bought myself a new set of strings because I’m planning on getting back into to playing and singing by old songs everyday like a used to just for a little boost to my mood.
I play the clarinet. I am not motivated to practice anymore though. I want to learn the cello.
Well my main one’s are the didgeridoo and Native American Flute. Now I’m trying the violin.
I do a lot of piano improv (sounds very new agey) and am getting more creative with chord sheets.
I love Autoharps because they are so easy to play.
I am working on making a harpejji app for Android but I have been a bit disorganized and emotional lately so I am having trouble with formal logic sometimes.
I was really good at the piano but quit after I realized I wouldn’t make it as a concert pianist. Plus I tried hapkido and messed up my back and that specific posture makes my back hurt a lot
I bought a piano while psychotic, but my elbows are too bad to play it much. Maybe when they heal, I’ll get into it.
I own an acoustic guitar. Can’t play the thing but that doesn’t keep people from thinking I can! Seriously people think if you own an instrument then you can play it!
