What have u done that really took u out of ur comfort zone?

For me, I once had to give this awareness presentation for a charity.

It was actually at the back of their main office, whilst the photographers were taking photos of me presenting. For some booklets.

I was nervous and totally unprofessional.

Because my crush from the office was nearby.

I would say lol, but it really wasn’t.

I packed my truck up and drove 6000 miles to start fresh in a new city and state. So all of my support and stability was gone and i had to figure out stuff on my own, like finding housing and establishing medical care. It really took me out of my comfort zone but was a great opportunity for growth and independence!

I would say knocking on doors and teaching about my church to people. Any proselytizing is scary, but especially one that is so hated in my neck of the woods like mine is. Received much hate because I was out with other missionaries, but I decided to do this, and I will do the best I possibly can at it. Hopefully this wasn’t too religious.

I think i lived a comfortable life for too long. My project is to move out for a year and finish my degree. I always want to help my parents into their old age, but i think spreading my wings will help me in the long run.r

Took a job at an insurance agency that required a LOT of interaction with customers.

Going to shows like a concert with schizophrenia. I’ve never taken a huge risk like starting over somewhere. Hell taking a long walk around my city would be terrible for me.

I used to do direct sales, you know them brand ambassador roles for companies like Samsung and Sony - one of them. It taught me a lot about soft influencing people to try to close sales.

For me it was probably getting over my fear of grocery shopping.

I used to really hate it, but I kept pushing myself and now I like grocery shopping and I’m even friends with a lot of people who work at my neighborhood grocery store.

I always admired how you folk do that, and 99% of the time keep going despite the rejection and adversity. Real bravery and strength. Very in accordance with the gospel too. Then again, the Saints teach us something about this. St Stephen, or St Berard & Companions .etc knew about talking and receiving hostility in kind, but not giving up. More power to you.

Not sure what comfort zone feels like.

In a state of at least mild mental discomfort as far back as I can remember.
