My voice is the only adult thing about me, though at times I sound like a whiny little boy. It isn’t nasally or resonant. It can be baritone/bass when I make a conscious effort, it isn’t unpleasing to listen to.
Arturo and bigjon’s posts of music and video inspired me to ask, what does your voice sound like?

I think I have a gooey voice. And my girlfriend says I lisp. I dunno, when I have heard my actual voice on messages and stuff, I’m kinda embarrassed.
What’s funny about that is when i have been able to actually rehearse a little and do a decent recording, i like my singing voice. Not all the time though, I sound like ■■■■ a lot of the time too, on some of the stuff I did in a hurry.
TBH, I hated my voice the last time I tried singing. But maybe after I quit smoking it might be a little better, hopefully. My speaking voice sucks, but i don’t really give a ■■■■ anymore.
my voice is like the sound of a little bell. If I yell, the people around me would not be able to bear it.
My singing voice used to be perfect, I could imitate anything, especially Smiths songs when my voice got more resonant. Now when I sing everything seizes up and I just sound croaky and terrible. I think it might be part of the illness, where it makes us tone deaf. People with sz are worse at differentiating tones than normal healthy people.

To be honest, i think it’s more of a lack of confidence, being too self-conscious more than anything else. For me at least, i have to be in a situation where i can let it all out. When I try to sing too quietly, I can’t hit the same notes and i have trouble staying on pitch.
Smoking has caused a lot of damage over the years. And lack of practice. When you sing, you have to use your diaphragm. It’s a muscle, so it can atrophy a bit from lack of use.
I can’t coordinate any of my singing machinery correctly as I used to.
I’m getting psychotic right now and have to go to sleep. It’s 1:30 am here.

My gramma once said my voice was deep and harsh when I was in my late teens. When I worked over the phone girls would say it was sexy. But now I have a bit of a slur and when I’m depressed it becomes slow and monotone. Sza is bad.
I change my voice a lot. But I think my voice is naturally pretty deep. One of my alters has a very high voice though. Another alter speaks with a Russian accent. Another is slightly British. Another has a very deep voice and speaks very slowly. One stutters a lot and speaks very quietly.
