The physics idea: the cat in the box exists and doesn’t exist at the same time? Is it like isolation? No one has had perception of me today so do I not exist?

From my understanding that applies to quantum psysics. A particle can be in every place at once but you never know where it is until you observe it, until something interacts with it, like a photon.
The cat in the box is either dead or alive, but you cannot know which without opening the box to observe, so it stays basically in a quantum superposition of both simultaneously until observed.
