For my GF to have a nice Christmas with her family on X-Mas Eve.
And to spend time with my family on X-Mas Day.

No i will amend my other post. Seriously i want nothing. Im self-sufficient and if i need something i will buy it myself.

Maybe some peace and quiet - and a half decent selection of films on the streaming services!

I dont celebrate it anyway. Tho i do get some light entertainment over xmas when the people are fighting drunk as hell after falling out the nightclub on the pier, and them shagging up the back alley - thinking they cant be seen :smiley:

Peace in the valley, a piece of roasted duck, a good bottle of white and Grateful Dead playing on my sonos.

I prefer being alone on christmas. I donā€™t feel sad about it, because i have a lot of invitations, but for some reason i canā€™t stand christmas.

I agree. Im not a misery guts, but Christmas is meant for children in my eyes - seeing them open their pressies on an Xmas morning. Not an excuse to get wasted drunk and wake up with a hangover in the morning.

(But then im single - i would say that. Probably different if you got a loving partner)

Exactly, i loved Christmas as a child. I like kids in general, but at christmas itā€™s like they are all on meth running desperately around, you cant talk to them, and sometimes they a show a kind of greediness i donā€™t like (and yes, i know i was like that too, when i was a kid)
