I know that many kids who are ethnically Asian for example who are raised in English speaking countries don’t speak any of their parents languages. Do you speak any Vietnamese?
Language is a part a person’s culture and to me it’s sad when one loses their language.

Yep i speak Vietnamese fluently, i can speak it at home with my parents and at the shops here
I did go to Vietnamese lessons on weekends too when i was younger. But my reading/writing has dropped a bit compared to speech after I stopped and have gotten older.
