What are your options on life insurance?

I don’t care if she was just doing her job, Squirrel,

it was very insensitive and almost allowing me to consider killing myself.

do you want I Have Suffered

on your headstone?

I do.

Insurance professionals are usually licensed in most jurisdictions and are legally mandated to adhere to certain standards. I’m sorry that her doing her job upset you, but I assure you things would be worse if she didn’t. There’s also the fact that you are, frankly, not only mentally ill, but also a walking catalog of personality disorders and are darn near set off by a Sears catalogue. That is not the poor insurance lady’s fault.

Yes, you’ve suffered. The people who have to deal with you suffer a lot, too. You need to learn to dial it back.

Jesus, I can’t help the way that I am.

I don’t appreciate your comments.

We can all learn and improve. I didn’t think I’d last a month at my job, with the pressure and the continuing dealing with people. It turns out that I can do it and I do it well. I learned.

Actually trying to be helpful.

no you’re not trying to be helpful

I’m not shocked into believing that I cause more suffering to people around me

than what I’ve been thru. I think you’re more knowledegable than that about my life.

I am a licensed Life agent in Michigan. What @shutterbug says is correct. I am required to tell my clients that suicide is not covered for the first 2 years. It’s a difficult discussion to have.

As for insuring schizophrenics… I can and have found several policies BUT I can’t afford them partially because of my age. I really encourage people to try and buy life insurance as young as you can. If schizophrenia is your only known health condition and if you are younger, there are policies out there.

I wish I had looked into life policies in my 20’s but now I am in my 40s. That time flies by.

I think if you are on here more often, you’ll see many of us

think we’ll be given something from our parents when they pass.

The parents have the money, the sick never do.
