What are your goals for the next 5 years?

Other than health and recovery

Do you have any new dreams for 2017? for the next 5 years? do you have any lifelong dreams?

Not the ones you could actually accomplish - the ones that you could or not - #dreams you #dream about =)

in 2017

  • I want to recover / lose weight / feel like myself

  • travel to vegas and costa rica and even my hometown if I could

  • get out of this miserable state

  • dream more

  • get married in church (I will do this in september 2017)

  • and in the next 5 years - work more / travel more =) and hopefully not relapse!

This year I would like to lose another 5-10 lbs, quit smoking (I type this with a cig in my mouth), and get the hell out of the ghetto, tired of this life. I’ve come to realize that, short of getting better-paying work, quitting smoking is my ticket out of the ghetto.

Sometime in the next five years I would like to get a full-time position at a college/university, or even just add another one or two part-time teaching gigs, and pay off all of my debts other than student loans (I owe A LOT in student loans). I’m sure at some point during that time I would like to start dating again, though I’m not too interested in it at the moment.

This is true:

Dreams that are do-able: Finish college, get a good job and get out of my Dad’s house. Maybe have a savings account and travel a little bit.

Dreams that are not likely: Get my delusional trillion, get my gift, have my amazing job that I love, have my friends and family more loving than ever and live in a ‘saved’ (saved from themselves) world free of war and religion. Travel all over the world.

In five years I would like to write another full-length play…
So my goal for this year - start writing one

Unachievable - I suppose my body could be thin and flexible and strong again - sounds very unlikely at the minute

All sounds a bit desperate and same old same old this morning
Not sure x just woke up

My goal is to try to get healthy.
I do my best already.
I depend on medical and technological advances.
If when I get healthy I have loads of stuff to do

Cherie rocks…

Well this September I want go study science and math at college
Want to get paid work
Want to find friend or boyfriend
Want to loose weight

To go round it one needs to focus not on the goal but the way it can be achieved. So if you share your goal say also how you are going to get there. According to the research such goal is more probable to get obtained than not to share at all… so focus on the process😊

Have two more kids (twin girls). Get a job traveling between Hamburg and silicon valey, CA. ■■■■■■■ write the book I have in mind for years. Spend a few months in a monestary writing this book. Go on vacation to Greece, spend a few weeks on creta and also see Athens. Go on vacation to Croatia.

I think it’s all about satisfaction. If telling someone your goals gives you satisfaction, you probably won’t do it. When you tell people how you’ll do it, it’s not satisfying anymore because people will check you. For example: “I’ll lose weight” is more satisfying than “I’ll run for an hour everyday.” The first one gives you satisfaction and the last one gives you responsibility.

All I want is to pay my bills and get ready for when I can no longer work, which is very close

I have several goals.

First, I want to be a writer, I mean make a living as a writer.

I want to finish college.

I want to go back to my physical training and take it to a new level of dedication and fitness.

I want to travel the world, visit some countries, make new friends.
