What are your skills, when your having a “wobble”?
Is it headphones for the voices? Or do you isolate yourself when your paranoid?
Just interested, thats all. There is no wrong Answer.

Music. Definitely music. As loud as I can have it. Drowns it out and clears my mind.
Yep me as well.
I started isolating ever since I went into psychosis. I don’t like ticking of clocks or any background noise. I like it silent so I can tell if I am hearing anything or not.
It has gotten a little better over time I realize I’m not paying attention to those things as much.
Do you hear conversations off them then? I have problems with the freezer motors - always a voice, like someones shouting next door lol.
I can hear them from any vibration be it the fan or the fridge even running water.
I hear you Buddy. Sure its paranoia based - but its quite strange how our brains interpret it.
Can I tell you what puzzles me, if its our own chemicals are out of wack and they come from our thoughts why do I hear a man’s voice when symptomatic this I don’t understand.
I wish i could tell you. I have a womans voice, i call “vicky” (purely so i have a name to swear at ). And ive never heard her in real life.
The brain is a strange thing. And if we had all the answers, we probably wouldnt be having a needle in our backside every month. lol.
Isolation definitely at least from everyone who isnt my mom. A couple weeks ago i was really losin it and my mom started to come over to watch tv with me all evening. We have kept that up and it helps cause it helps distract me.
So isolation and destraction
Yeah company deffo helps. Your not pre-occupied with your mind then. Im the same, the twin brother with stay with me now and again.
When i have a wobble i usually go to my familys for support. When alone i use music, reading and videogames. Having a dog also really helps me.
I take a nap or take supplements that I have that calm me down.
Taking a nap , vaping ( i know not a healthy one ) , holding my breath
Yeah a quick power sleep for an hour or 2 usually does the trick
I isolate.
I usually isolate when I’m not psychotic too as i don’t like how most people treat me.
Just stay home in bed and write a to do list for the most simple of things like have breakfast, take rubbish out, shower… etc
Yeah, sometimes its just easier isnt it? Some mental health teams, simply dont realise that some of us, are happier being on our own, we dont want to go out for a poxy coffee in the middle of the town when its busy lol.
I had a doctor when I was in the adolescent ward tell me I was shutting things out with my walkman and that I needed to open up.
Grounding helps me the most
