What are you doing tonight.
Reading and sleeping. It’s only early afternoon over here and I’m just relaxing. Mowed the lawn which needed doing so got that out of the way. Bit of rain and humidity means it grows overnight but I’m glad I got that done…How are you feeling now? I see you were in a little crisis earlier ??
I am feeling a little bit better now.
Good to hear. Often happens when symptoms flare up. Ride out the bad times and enjoy the good!
Its late mornings here, i have no money to spend so its a bit boring. I would love to go out into the sticks but i don’t have a permit.
I got lots of admin work to do, but its public holiday and all offices are closed. Me as a pensioner who don’t work, public holidays are special boring.
Worked until 5 pm. Had roast duck for supper, followed it up with some tea and some more work, and am now listening to music before bed (just finished French lessons).
I went to the grocery store right when they opened at eight. Picked up some tp and other essentials.
I just ordered a book titled The Loop after resting all evening.
The more affordable option, love it! Libraries rock.
Heck yeah brotha! My library has an amazing selection, too.
I, uh, ran across an amazing selection of Torani cofee syrups a few moments ago. I shouldn’t have, but they had me at sugar free chocolate chip cookie dough flavoured syrup. You can’t say no to that without losing all dignity.
My wife gonna kill me when six bottles of coffee juice arrive.
Haha! Are you out grocery shopping? Or did you find said coffee syrups in your own stash?
roast duck…fancy haha
researching abilify cause i wanna get back on it
It’s 8am here. I’m having coffee and watching the news. Just had some breakfast and fed the dog.
Doing the same. Did the housework at 5am this morning - and just gonna plod down the shop for milk. 8am and im bored already!
I normally buy syrups on Amazon, but they are out of the two flavours we use the most of. We’d have to drive all the way to Calgary to a store that is always crowded to find a good price. I poked around online and found this:
I was going through the sugar free section and be like OOOOOOH. A few more fell into my cart than I had planned for.
My wife and I were in the grocer this past Saturday morning and noticed that the ducks on sale were 1.5x the size of frozen chickens for about .7 of the price. Three of them came home with us. Had actually never cooked one before, but it turned out really well:
You cook a duck for three hours at 350F turning it every so often. The last half was spent brushing it with a mix of lemon, balsamic vinegar, and honey. The inside of the bird was stuffed with garlic cloves and lemon wedges. It turned out to be a nice, cheap meal.
Dessert was a slice of cinnamon toast made using homemade bread.
I’m trying to sleep but I’m in severe pain.
It’s afternoon here - I have been working on my clients websites - also following the Davos 2021 (World Economic Forum) meeting
