sexism, violence, racism, our government at the moment (USA), poverty, discrimination, terrorism, sickness, death

I think that covers most things I am sad about in the normal sense of sad. If I am depressed, it is usually about something small that has been blown out of proportion in a major way - not any of these real big issues.

Me too. My sadness is usually about something personal and not about general things that affect others.

Pregnancy loss, child death, loneliness, religion, poverty, blind obedience, sexism, bigotry…

Things that make me sad are seeing crappy mothers and fathers screaming blue murder at their kids. And my current pet peeve is seeing my friends girlfreind puffing away on cigeretes whilst pregnant! Thats what bloody well annoys me!
