What are some simple things which are difficult for you

Telephone calls, probably #1 for me. I avoid them totally if I could.
Something about that handset that makes my mind go blank.

Is not being able to rest or sit down possibly a sign of hypomania?

Putting away my laundry, doing dishes, and waking up on time are really hard for me.

I relate to a lot of what you guys have written here.

I do not laugh often.
Not once a week .
That deep laugh does not happen often.
I have different laughs to a point.

I have difficulties watching tv.
I stopped all together but recently started watching recorded series but I can suffer watching them too.
I can enjoy some of them sometimes and even some that are good can still be horrid for me.i might feel attacked by some of the actors or violated by them or spied on by them or /and that other things go on .

Going out is usually a big deal and always has been probably.
It’s not so easy going .

Dinners usually torment me even with some of my own family .
Visitors is difficult to endure.

I can barely stand to be around a lot of people.

I love people though.

Heaps of other things too.

Higher level thought, anticipating rewards, sleep cycle, verbal fluency, feeling pleasure.

I have the same problem with watching TV. I can only watch like kiddy shows and documentaries, even some documentaries trip me out! So I end up watching documentaries about Quantum Physics/Space Exploration and I’m like I have nooo idea what they are talking about! Lol. Same with music, I mostly listen to instrumental like techno but I’ve always liked that kind of music.

Anyhow, these are some things that I struggle with…

Waking up
Cleaning up/Doing DIshes
Being outside, even if it’s just for a short walk (I get paranoid)
Checking the mailbox
Sticking to a routine
Meeting new people, even if it’s like a healthcare provider

Theres more but I’m lazy :stuck_out_tongue:

Shaving for me. I used to shave everyday now I shave once a month or so. It’s also partly because I always forget to buy razors for my shaving razor.

It’s the new fashion, many people on tv have a long beard now:

seriously dude. Is that Hassan Nasrallah

(1) going to the store: I can’t stand having people behind me. I stand in the lines sideways and always have to go to a line on the end.

(2) going to parties - too much stuff going on.

(3) going to see doctors.

I also cannot listen to music. It totally disrupts my focus. I even turn off the game sound. I used to love music, but now I just can’t stand it.
