Earlier in the year I received a letter from Social Security that my case was being reviewed. This had me a wreck because in 2015, the year they were looking at, I was not psychotic all of the time. There was a lot of paperwork to submit including a list of all of my doctors. They claimed they didn’t receive anything from my docs so they scheduled an appointment for me with one of their psychologists. A couple of weeks before the appointment they cancelled it because they received the notes from my therapist. This was a huge relief as I didn’t know what to tell their doc.
Well I just found out that my case was approved and am still considered disabled. This was a huge relief as I don’t think I can work quite yet. My therapist says right now I’m disabled but she believes I will be able to work in the future. I agree with this and since graduating from college last August I have been sending my resume out. In reality though I don’t think I’ll be able to work quite yet.
The review process really made my symptoms flair up so I’m relieved it worked out.
