Probably not intentional, sometimes doors are easier to close than you expect.

I once took an office colleague out for lunch. I paid the bill. But since I am rather clumsy I forgot to open the door for her when we left the pub. She was quick to point out “you don’t treat ladies too well”. I later found out she was expecting me to make a move on her which I didn’t. She was married btw.
