I wasn’t diagnosed until I was 37 even though I was in and out of psych wards since I was 16. Was anyone else diagnosed this late?

No I was 26 going on 27 and I am 28 now.

I had my first psychosis at 30 and was quickly hospitalized. I don’t have a previous psychiatric record, I was pretty functional before 30.

I was diagnosed at about 38/39.

Did you have problems before that or is that when it started for you?

I didn’t have problems before that. It seemed quite a sudden break for me.

I believe famous mathematician and economist John Nash was diagnosed at 30.

Age 32 for me. Although nothing was different after the Dx, I was as I always was, you’d think the pdoc just discovered a new specimin after meeting me.

I was diagnosed at 21-22. I already had a lot of symptoms.
