well dad was investing my rent money, originally he said i would inherit it. but recently he has decided to cash out my gains and take that for himself. so i had invested 23k and made about 12k but dad sold a bunch of stock to pay for his upstairs remodel. his reasoning was that if i inherited it, i would lose my medicaid anyhow. so basically i just get my house rent to own and don’t get the gains from my rent money being invested. the whole thing makes me wish i had a rich daddy haha instead of a greedy arsehole haha.

He might be right. If you had money you werent’t supposed to have cuz of SS limits and you were trying to get that amount back to you in the future… I imagine you could run into problems.
