50s were the apex of us living quality. 1 income could support a wife and 2 kids, house costs and still have enough to vacation.

People dressed hella nice too. Even the thugs.

I disagree.

My grandmother used to say all the time that the 50s were much darker than history has depicted.

I agree that people looked nice,

And about the money.

But it wasn’t a great time to be a woman or person of color.
