My aunt just text me I need to be out by December. I have no friends no money or anything. We don’t have homeless ppl where I’m from.

I’m pissed what do I do?

What seems to be the problem with your Aunt? have you had an argument or something?

Can you be apologetic and make it clear that you have no finances and that she is making you homeless in a kindly way?

She’s the power of attorney over my gparents now and their was no argument she sent me a text to get out

if you are in the UK you have rights. All evictions need to be offical and take many months for example.

If you have any social security you have to be prepared to spend 100% on rent and get your food from food banks.

This is pretty bad.

I think @labratmat had a good plan though. Explain to your aunt that she’s making you homeless.

This is incredible. I can’t get my head around this.

Can you contact your local church and ask them what resources they’re aware of for homeless people?

Or just Google “homeless in (your area)” to see what comes up.

So in your country there’s no laws protecting tenants?!

In the US, tenants have rights. It takes a long time of court proceedings before you can officially evict them.

I’d start googling for housing help in your country. There have been people who have been evicted with nowhere to go where you live so there must be some sort of help available.

One place to call that may know whom to contact is your mental health provider. Mine offers assistance in that area and many others do too. Yours might not, but it’s worth a phone call at least.

I’m in line for one but I go to court next week over a DUI I might go to jail
