For me I am 108kg trying to get down to 100kg first, then eventually 85kg somewhat lean.
I weight train throughout the week and started rucking the other day with a 20kg vest. I did 40 mins/4000 steps with the vest on.
Right rotator cuff was messed up a couple months ago by a stupid move, but I can bench and row just fine. Think one of the posterior tendons might be inflamed. Still uncomfortable to sleep sometimes, but I doubt there’s a tear as I have full range of motion.
Trap Bar Deadlift back in June before my gym layoff was 110kg for 2-3 reps.
I’m back up to 100-110kg again and hoping to be moving at least 130kg in Feb for a one rep max
I’m around 85 kg, don’t know how much antipsychotica I am on. I used to be like 65-67 kg before that, strong and healthy mental power of a musk ox. My goal is 56 kg it’s only that i’m in hell if you understand but I smile and I laugh and cry and feel.
Vegetables
And lean meat
Addition
Fish
Oatmeal
Milk
I started at 235 pounds. Have lost 6 of those, toward a goal of 85 down.
I am finally seeing the light after a really hard 3 year breakdown. It’s like I woke up and said WTF have I done?!
Exercise goal is 5 days a week, and I’m doing Weight Watchers. I’ve calorie counted in the past, but I’m recovering from bulimia. I’m tired of obsessing over whether I have enough calories to put grape tomatoes on my salad…
Just relapsed on Saturday, so losing this weight is really important to me. I was at 152 pounds successfully before my breakdown hit, so I know my goal is realistic. I’m only 5’5" so I don’t want to carry more than that.
Any thoughts on carbs being the enemy? I know excess calories can be converted to fat, but people with mild insulin resistance might store more fat, although I don’t see how as I thought glucose reuptake from the insulin was responsbile for the fat storage.
I meal prepped chicken, broccoli and rice the other day, but have decided to cut back on the rice as I would rather fill up on protein.
For healthy fats I eat eggs, and drink whole milk.
Do you really think that just walking a lot will help me lose weight? Im currently around the same weight as you. 108-110 kgs. I was around 75kgs for most of my adult life so far until a couple years ago. Really want to get back to being slim.
I guess it depends on calorie expenditure. You have to burn more calories than you consume. But it’s complicated with meds and the way they affect metabolism.
I was 75kg about 10 years ago. That was my healthiest weight.
Yeah guess i gotta eat better and less amount. I never used to have such an epic appetite. I cant help but want results straight up. Which is impossible with weight loss. Unless you starve yourself. Which is a bad way to lose the kilos. I dunno.
I’ve been having two cups of microwaved veggies (with beans and barley) with butter and a bit of cut-up chicken. It’s very good. My blood sugar is slowly improving…except this morning it was a bit too high. I got into the Omega gummy fish yesterday.
Carrots. Everytime i crave food I eat a carrot or an apple or bread without anything on top of it. I’m on olanzapine and weigh about 10 kilos too much, i know it’s very little, but I am vain and hate the packet of fat on my stomach.
If you want to lose weight you have to be hungry part of the time, so getting used to being hungry is part of my plan.
Get a cold, loose your appetite for a few days, it then motivates you to keep off the weight and more! OK I don’t reccomend it but it’s what working for me at th moment
