'‘Wealth can be pretty isolating’: Problems that rich people face, according to therapists

Rofl. Yes, lets all feel sorry for the billionaires now.

THis is so dumb. Of course rich people have problems just like other people.

But asking us to feel particularly sorry for the ultra rich is laughable.

This article is beyond superfluous and quite dumb.

I would like to experience these problems.

Is being rich and sad better than being poor and sad?

Well, I think that health can be a form of wealth. I think that wisdom can be a form of wealth. I think that money can be a form of wealth.

If I wasn’t offended by watching “Good Will Hunting,” about an abused orphan super genius, with that apparent form of wealth and not the other 2, maybe I shouldn’t be offended by watching a movie about Howard Hughes depicting Leonardo DiCaprio as him going through tremendous burn pain after a fiery plane crash.

I think it can be hard for some people to identify with other people who seem to have such distant wealth, though.

It’s not the suggestion that wealthy people have problems that is so annoying about this article.

It’s that they are singled out in this article as having problems.

As if they have more problems than us fortunate commoners or the poor. lol.

Boo hoo.

The burden of being rich and elite is so heavy.

If its such a burden, they are free to give all their money away and take up a paupers life.

How many do you think will do that?

Yeah, I thought about pointing out that money can be easily given away, in theory; but, I think Warren Buffett has already spent a great deal of money pointing that out

You beat me to saying something like that by about 1 minute, it seems.

I don’t envy the rich.

I’d rather be depressed with a full belly and warm house than depressed, hungry, and homeless. Money can’t buy happiness but it surely makes the unhappiness more comfortable.

I believe wealthy people can have very good mental health. I am dealing with a lot of wealthy people in my life and it’s high stress and a lot of responsibility. They encourage each other and they also have a good sense of humor.

Go cry into your million dollars jerk

(not you everhopeful, the author of the article)

Unless YOU have millions of dollars everhopeful, in which case I guess you CAN go cry into a pile of it! Cuz why would you care if I’m insulting you at that point, you’re rich! LoL! See how that works?

Honestly though I hope at least one of us inherits some money as a surprise so we can test this theory ourselves.

Ive been on and off government assistance most of my life. So ive been sort of poor compared to a lot of others in my country. Everything goes to rent and bills with a little left over for food, but it usually doesnt last until next pay. But i have nothing against wealthy people. I probably wouldn’t like to be rich. I consider myself lucky in many ways. Everyone suffers sooner or later in thier lives. Its a part of life i think. Doesn’t matter your money, health, nation, race or anything. I try not to assume anything about other people. Or compare. These are ideals of mine anyway. Cant always live them. But i try.
