Real life poet… I’ve seen my share of cruelty and have even been cruel at times. Im sure you have a better understanding of why cruelty is from weakness but I feel like I just had an insight about it and I think it’s wack as hell.
I understand justice and punishment but cruelty never comes from a constructive place.
I’m gonna try my best to fight the hate and potential cruelty in myself. I’m done with harm bro…

Yep…it’s hard to cultivate tho. I really don’t know how to get it going in my life right now tho. I feel the world is against me alot of the times and I hold a lot of anger because of it. When I can believe people don’t want to hurt me I find myself far more altruistic but it’s tough. And I don’t think I had a lot before the sz …

Cruelty usually comes from a person that is offended and is annoyed because people have disrespected their persona - and they want to validate their emotions.
Its one of the first signs of Psychopathy.

Happens in a lot of Personality Disorder Cases as well. They are unable to read other people emotions and react to them proportionally. So their response is usually violent or manipulative. Because in their head - they are feeling under threat - because they don’t understand it. A Typical Fight Flight response.

No. Schizophrenics usually show empathy. And therefore are not prone to violence. Those sz’s you see in the the news, having battered someone - usually have a a co-morbid personality disorder, that is aggravated by substance misuse and are usually not medication compliant.

I agree. It seems like some people take cruelty as a way of survival. Like we have to be cruel to survive. I do my best not to be cruel in any way to people. And when somebody is being cruel to me I try to not take it so personally. I am trying my darndest not to take cruelty as a way of survival.

No one expects you to be a bloody angel. But people being cruel is on their terms and their Karma not yours.
I always say. Love your Brother and your Sister in your Community. They dont know what crap your going thru - just like you dont know theirs.
