We got the green light to start trying for a baby! The nurse practitioner said we’ll figure out the ingrezza either soon after I find out I’m pregnant or during our next appointment next month whatever comes first. She said she’d ask her over head in the meantime what to do.

@jukebox we didn’t know yet… We ended up talking about it and found out we both wanted one… I was scared he didn’t want one but we talked

@jukebox thanks, I had recently posted that the only reason we weren’t was the ingrezza but the nurse is looking into it

Austedo is really the only thing for an Ingrezza alternative, but I doubt that one’s safe. Honestly, my TD didn’t get better until I stopped trying with Austedo or Ingrezza.

@Happy_H she’s trying to figure out how to get me off ingrezza safely she didn’t know how to do a decrease since I’m on 80 mg so she’s asking her higher ups

I admittedly just went cold turkey. I don’t recall why, though. Are 80s the sparkly purple ones? If so, that’s what I had. I think it was 80s.

Most of the damage to the fetus from ingrezza occurs within the first trimester. Maybe you should still wait until it is out of your system so you don’t end up with a baby on life support?
