Should be interesting to hear your choice of fish/seafood
England it is all about haddock and cod, battered ofcourse with fries.
Itâs really tasty
I think walleye is kind of local in the Midwest.
I donât know what fish is most commonly served where I am from but itâs easy to catch a lot of catfish in the nearby Mississippi river.
As for what seafood I prefer, I like shrimp.
Nothingâs fresh here in the Midwest - it all has to be trucked in. So what we are left with is either prohibitively expensive, or dogshit that I wouldnât feed a starving coyote with.
You ever go noodling @Bowens?
Nope, but I have done some fishing from both a boat and on shore when I was younger.
Never tried the bare hands approach though .
Yellowtail etc my dad works for sportfishing tackle deep sea in Southern California
Where I grew up there was a lot of bass, crappie, and catfish.
Walleye from Lake Erie is the âspecialtyâ here. I donât like fish, but shellfish are okay. Mainly shrimp. I realize itâs not fresh, but it still tastes good haha
Back in the 50âs salmon was transported to our rivers, so salmon became very popular. (Michigan)
Lots of salmon here and I like it.
British Columbia salmon
I like fresh sardines. Itâs a lot of work to prep them but they taste yummy.
Where Iâm from we eat a lot of red snapper, and parrot fish⌠salted cod fish⌠crab, shrimp⌠doctor fishâŚ
Hmm. . .
Fish Are Living,
Animals/Beingâs.
As âKurt Cobainâ, From The,
Legendary,
Timeless Rock Group Said:
I live in Canada and the only fish I eat is Halibut, I love it, but it seems like you can only get it at Fish and Chips restaurants and itâs expensive. In the grocery store itâs mostly Haddock on the shelves, sometimes there is other fish too, but I donât really like Haddock or other types of fish.
Cod, Salmon (frozen), Trout (fresh), thatâs what I eat. You can get also Bass and Catfish. But this guy I talked to the other day got some Catfish all full of worms so he couldnât eat em.
The fish I eat most often is this wild pole caught, mercury tested, albacore tuna
Fried catfish mostly. But I eat a lot of tilapia because itâs all I can afford.
