The Medal of Honor is a medal that is given to members of the U.S. armed forces who have shown special courage or bravery in battle. He won the Medal of Honor for his actions
Why do we deserve a metal reserved for heroes?
People who suffer like us are just considered vermin to be paid off with benefits.
When I first got diagnosed with SZ, they tried to get me into assisted living, and my prognosis was terrible.
I cut them all off in anger because of this, and I proved them wrong.
Don’t want a medal or any recognition for it, as that would be a fruitless dream
All I expect is respectful treatment by the health system, which is kinda lacking at the moment with the threatening behaviour and even bullying I experienced last Friday from a doctor.
For fighting battles no one knows about and winning
That’s ridiculous.
Lots of people have mental illness,
You don’t get a metal for it.
Plus, don’t you already get government benefits for being sick?
You’re getting plenty, you don’t need a metal.
People who have enjurned server hardships should recive a medal of honour jmo
not only mental illness
I mean hardships in life we deserve a type of honour for enjurning it
Maybe in 300 years time we could be famous
If you want to be famous for your hardships,
Write a book.
Stop always trying to get a shortcut to money or fame.
Just enough money to get a long I am happy with (not 2 much)
I meant honour not money for hardships
but some do get big money for goverment faults fact
Man, the things mi peep go through is leagues worse than battle, sometimes. I know what he means.
I went through hell a few times
A wise person understands
I think that Pedro is out of touch and this thread is insulting to veterans.
People who have actually served and deserve such metals.
I’m not a vet, so I can’t speak to MI being worse than battle.
But I sincerely doubt it.
I was describing how hardships deserve a medal of honour
and was using this as a metaphorical way of explaining it
Ok let me tell you of my 5 year ordeal. Every day felt like pure death. 9 to 9.5 out of 10 headache that felt like something in my head would pop if I did something inane like eat dinner with fam. Every noise was a dagger in my brain.
Docs didn’t know wtf.
I would have had a better time killing a man in combat than 5 years of that.
Not insulting at all to vets.
