We are skeletons on the wall ~ A Poem

so fragile. so delicate. like a raw egg.
we are skeletons on the wall
hanging our hours through the day
never seeing beyond our walls
but there is a light.
we have love.
love can save us.
we are not just skeletons on the wall.

the foiled paper wrap I just trough a way, reminds me of the price we pay, to ever saying the curse that are folks had given us the part , of making a home, but a part from that was a bark at the door, with no one at lase, just a wind as the weather had changed tell me the ghosts had seen me pray. id come home. I live on as the day grows dark, supper is done why I play this song. jukebox

@TheGreatestDrZen I love you brother…I hope you are o k…I worry about you !!

And dust in the wind.

They always ask “how was your day?”,
A shrug, a nod, I couldn’t say,
Living in nothing, no goal in mind,
My soul is lost, I cannot find,
The words to say, "my day is great!"
As I’m lost, they ask too late,
Someday, perhaps, I’ll give them word,
When I am free, a WhiteRaven bird.

listening to the melodies on the wind
just another day, another med, another night.
where’s my whiskey? where’s my keg of beer?
gone with my youth. now it’s just coffee in the morning.
and diet coke at night. it’s late now I should be sleeping
but I sleep too much and want a change…I just need a ■■■■■■■ change !

I think there’s a place for all of us wanderers. Ever think about the plot of:

Moby-Dick: The whole aim of the voyage of the Pequod is to snuff the white whale. The crew consists of motley people from all over the world, having a common purpose: snuff the white whale.

What does the whale symbolize?

A power of some kind; something wicked. In my opinion, it is something of the white race. I declare that it is racism, and the white race’s drive to rule the world. This must be stopped, else all is lost.

What happens is, the whale pulls the whole ship undersea, and Queequeg’s coffin saves Ishmael in the end. Queequeg is an island cannibal, a nonwhite. And Ishmael himself may be Jewish? Who knows? for he doesn’t discuss his ancestry in the book.

Thank you for a bit of creative criticism of Melville.

If you’re staying sober, good on you. Me, too.
