if i turn on watching on a thread does it notify me when new posts are made on those threads? i am hoping i have worked out how to pin my favourite posts to get updates

What’s tracking? is that if you are interested in a certain person or people?

I currently know how to do the following things:

@discobot start {name-of-tutorial}

Starts an interactive tutorial just for you, in a personal message. {name-of-tutorial} can be one of: tutorial, advanced tutorial.

i got a badge for completing a tutorial & a license i think, it was pretty dope, but i cant remember what i did to get it.

tbh, i’d love to get one more badge :slight_smile:

I was thinking all these days it was public :sweat_smile:

But one can still see everything by an individual by searching! I suppose.

The basic settings for a thread:

Watching: you will get a notification every time a new post is made in that thread.

Tracking: you will see a blue circle next to the thread with the number of new posts since you last read it. When you open the thread, it will open to your latest read post. The forum will automatically set threads to tracking if you read a certain number of posts or make a post in the thread.

Normal: you will not see any blue circle next to the thread. It will appear the same as other unread threads.

Muted: the thread will stop being visible to you. You will still get a notification if someone tags you directly (this may have changed since the last update though)
