But my new class isn’t posted on my account for whatever reason. Have a few hours to kill until I can call the school and see what is going on. Usually a class posts at midnight. It is now past 7 am. It should be no big deal, but I was so excited to start this class and see what this next month is going to be like for me.
On the other hand, I can do some work in my other class. But it is soooo boring to me. Distract me from the life of school lol.
I’m not good with distractions. I’ve been thinking about birthday parties. My daughter’s birthday isn’t until May, but I’m already thinking about it. I think we’ll only do a party if her grandparents are flying out. But then I’m sure I’ll feel guilty since she likes parties. I don’t know what to do.
If her grandparents do not fly out just do something small. Since you have plenty of time you can slowly start buying little things. That way when the time comes you have a whole bunch of her favorite things. She won’t know the difference between a big party and a party with her parents. Either way I’m sure she will have a great time.
She doesn’t really need anything, so I wasn’t planning on getting her presents. Is that bad? I thought we’d just make a trip to the zoo or something. Her favorite things are Sarah and Duck and Puffin Rock and it’s near impossible to find any merchandise from them in the states.
I got her some Sarah and Duck pajamas and a set of Sarah and Duck books for Christmas/New Years. But I don’t know what else to get. I probably won’t get her anything, just go to the zoo or children’s museum or something.
We’ll still do a birthday dinner with friends, so there will still be a get-together of some sort. Last year, and probably every year, we did dinner on her birthday and party on memorial weekend when Mr LED’s parents were here.
I don’t think its bad to not do presents. Especially at a young age. A trip to the zoo sounds wonderful!
I’ve been wanting to do school work as well, though, more in the English/writing subject… I even messaged my old teacher on Facebook recently asking for sites and such where I could study up on more vocabulary and DGP.
I also really feel not liking other classes, it’s such a drag to do work you’re not even interested in hahaha.
I am glad that you found your interest. My class finally posted and I am sorta dreading it now. The way the teacher explains things are confusing. And I have to do things in APA format, which I haven’t done before. I also have to make a brochure and power point which I haven’t done since I was a kid in school.
