I volunteered before I started my employment at a warehouse. The lack of activity on my resume and gaps in work history really needed some volunteering experience.

Im more on the Why work for free opinion but i didnt get any summerjob so maybe i should.
I volunteered for 2 years before working at a warehouse. Before then, I was living off of disability benefits from the government for about 8 years.

My mental health worker thought it would be great for me to volunteer at the new animal shelter in town since I’m missing having a pet. I’m going to check it out.

Volunteering might be a good idea if covid wasn’t around.
