Ive been taking B6 and vit D for my prolactin for 5 days.
It seem like my negative symptoms just vanished.
I also took chia seeds for 3 days before the days.
Whats is B6?

Funny you bring this up, i started B6 for high prolactin three days ago (im on 12 mg of Invega), and my mania has almost completely withdrawn. I was wondering if it was some kind of placebo effect, but I wasn’t expecting it, so it’s new to me.
Research mentioned GABA, which I know nothing about. I am asking my psych nurse practitioner when I see her today.
Denise said that Vitamin B6 touches a neurotransmitter called GABA, which is a feel good calming chemical in your brain. Basically it makes you feel even and reassured that life is going to be okay. for me I have the bipolar type of schizoaffective, so it’s evening out my hypomania, which is why it’s making me feel good. We’re sure it’s the B6 because that’s the only thing that’s changed - just hoping it continues! Some people take B6 for anxiety and mood. I didn’t know that, I just saw the prolactin benefit. Good to know, I wish she’d recommended this months ago!!
edited to add: We’re also continuing to raise the Lamictal I’m on, but would still have to do B6 for prolactin anyway.
Jw what are Chia seeds good for? Do they have b vitamins?
No just omega 3s
