Vitamin B1 is suppressing my appetite and stops my mind from thinking about the "occult "

I’m experimenting with B vitamins.

Vitamin B1 100mg suppresses my appetite! It’s also called thiamin

The effect lasts for about 6 hours.

Also, one of my problems is I ruminate on things to do with the occult as I suffer from “sixth sense,” or extracampine hallucinations.

And it stops me from doing that. Again for about 6 hours. It basically straightens out my thinking.

Taking 100mg or less a day of thiamin supplements is unlikely to cause any harm.

Anyway, that’s my experience with it. Your experience may be different!

If it’s a tablet maybe you could split it and see if you get more hours of positive effect by taking 50mg twice daily.

Hope the effect lasts! :+1:

My multi mineral vitamin pills gives me exactly 100 mg. a day. I’ve taken approximately this same dose for like greater than 30 years. I do well.

I have been taking a B-complex for many years now and I agree that it makes a difference for me. If I forget to take it I don’t feel as well that day. I think that is great that you can actually determine exactly how it is helping you.

I took 200mg for the last 2 days.

I feel dizzy and there’s been a cognitive decline.

I’m going back to 100mg a day.

No such thing as a free lunch!

They say thiamine supplements don’t cross the blood brain barrier easily. There was a supplement called subulthiamine made in Japan that was designed to be easily absorbed. There is also a variant called Benfothiamine which also is easily absorbed. I tried the benfo one time, but no effect. But then again nothing seemed to work on me back when I was taking generic zyprexa. Some things that did not work before are suddenly working it seems.

Anyways I thought I’d mention it.

You could be taking too much. The recommended daily dose is 1mg, so maybe you’re taking like 100x more than you should.

Everyone is different though, and if it’s helping then you probably needed it

I can’t find a smaller dose except in a b complex.

But 100mg a day seems to be doing the trick.

200mg a day was too much.
