Vitamin B1 got rid of my "6th sense" (extracampine) hallucinations

Just in case anyone else is troubled by “6th sense” hallucinations (basically sensing things that aren’t visible), it might be worthwhile trying vitamin b1.

100mg a day seems to do the trick for me. I tried 200mg a day and that seems to cause confusion, so I quickly stopped that.

I’m on Abilify but it wasn’t helping with that aspect of things.

It’s worth a go, it’s a cheap supplement. It may work for you too.

What are you exactly experiencing? There are many people who have a 6th sense, and they are perfectly okay with it.

These hallucinations are often experienced as a viscerally-felt form of the “sixth sense” knowledge that someone else, unseen, is present.

Pretty much this.

I’m not fully getting it, but I’m glad that vitamins help you.

If you think you’ve got a 6th sense, try some vitamin b1 and if it goes away, it was probably just a schizophrenia head fake.

I eat b1 foods all the time. Supplements are just as good. Hovis bread fortifies their bread and I’ve eaten that for years.

Pork is a good source of thiamine, and also sunflower seeds. B1 helps with nerves and gives you energy by converting food into energy and stuff like that

Most food in the uk is fortified with it, so I’m not too worried if I’m not getting enough, but I know my levels are fine

I did read a while ago that b1 from food stores in the liver for longer than b1 supplements, but both are good
