Hey , so I’ve taken hallucinogenic before I diagnosed with sza and when I was on them I saw the usual geometry shape stuff. But once was diagnosed with sza I did have any hallucinations except for voices. But for a time I was off my meds I saw geometry shapes again but not taking anything. I just wondering is the geometry shapes normal hallucination? Because i google it and seem to be not common one for sz/sza.
ive only seen geometric stuff with my eyes closed and it rarely happens
So it’s rare , I told my doctor about but they just say ok and we move on with sessions.

do u get migraines? it could be a migraine aura. u can even get silent migraines that dont hurt and still have the aura. you might wanna google geometric migraine aura visual…or something like that

ive seen stuff very similar to this description with my eyes closed. the c shaped light that grows. i get that a lot. and i get migraines sometimes. its probably related for me. i get geometric patterns less often

Yah I was have migraines around that time. Never heard of migraines cause that but I will google it. Thanks for hint.

My pyschiatrist had me tested for eye floaters and a brain tumor before he diagnosed me with sz because he said visual hallucinations were not as common as auditory hallucinations. I never saw geometric shapes. Mine were terrifying ones like people, body parts, animals, etc. And I had never done any drugs so maybe they are different because of that.
