Pdoc just put me on Viibryd does anyone take it? Or know anything about it? I am schizoaffective depressive type.
I think Viibryd (Vilazodone) is meant to be an antidepressant with similar effectiveness to SSRIs. It has a slightly different mechanism because it is serotonergic so you make more Serotonin in your brain, but SSRIs achieve the same thing in a different way, so if you have tried some of them (like Prozac, Zoloft etc) it might be similar. I’ve never tried it myself but from what I’ve read it sounds like it should work, and I hope it does help you! I didn’t read about any particularly bad side effects for it so it’s worth a try. Hopefully it will work for the depression and related symptoms
